Rolling guide systems

The rolling guide systems are robust, low-maintenance and are always used for accelerating components along a production line in a linear axis. The lifetime lubrication of the ball bearings ensures optimal running characteristics and provides adequate sealing on both sides to guard against dust and dirt.

The guide rails used have a maximum length of 4080 mm. The roller carriage is available in a compact and a heavy-duty version. Depending on the size and dimensions of the elements, the unit is capable of withstanding dynamic loads of up to 12,280 N.

The rolling guide rails are available with either fixed or floating bearings. When installed in pairs, the combination of fixed and floating-bearing rails ensures the necessary tolerance compensation in order to prevent jamming and excessive wear in the event of parallelism faults.

Running speeds of 7 m/s can be achieved. Rolling guide rails from norelem are also available in a high-quality version made from zinc-plated rolling bearing steel with induction-hardened runner tracks. This ensures optimisation of the running characteristics even when subject to high and very high load values. Rolling guide rails from norelem are used primarily in the fields of machine construction, tool building, automation technology and robotics.
