norelem expands its range of stepper motors
The three most popular sizes NEMA 17, NEMA 23 and NEMA 34 are now available
Whenever parts or workpieces have to be moved, rotated, machined or sorted during manufacturing, stepper motors offer a wide range of possible applications. In addition to stepper motors of the size NEMA 17, norelem now also offers NEMA 23 and NEMA 34 models. Thus, the three most common simple versions as well as those with integrated control sizes are available.
norelem now supplies stepper motors in NEMA sizes 17, 23 and 34 - these are available in the simple version or with integrated control.

Stepper motors from norelem impress with their precision, high efficiency and maintenance-free, economical operation. They are characterised by a quiet, low-resonance running without step losses and enable a constantly controllable operation with self-monitoring of the system and voltage monitoring of the output stage. Equipped with a robust EMC-protected housing and IP64 protection class, the motors are suitable for an ambient temperature of up to 50° C without forced ventilation.

The stepper motors with integrated control are fitted with all operating modes of regular positioning systems: Automatic, setup, referencing, parameter and program input. As different interfaces such as Profibus or CAN bus are available, norelem stepper motors can be adapted to almost any control system. The corresponding software is available for free download on norelem's homepage, as are the appropriate control instructions. The programming software is easy to use and runs on any standard PC or laptop.

The flange dimensions of the stepper motors are 42 mm (NEMA 17), 56 mm (NEMA 23) and 86 mm (NEMA 34). The retention torques of the various models range from 0.43 Nm to 8.2 Nm. The step angle is 1.8° for all models. The stepper motors are controlled via braided cables. They are designed for a control voltage of 24 to 36 V DC and have 2 output ports and 6 input ports. Connection cables, SMPS's, interface converters and 1-stage gear drives are available as accessories. All stepper motors are suitable for continuous operation.
