Safety switches are designed for protective enclosures such as doors, hatches and hoods. The device consists of two parts, the read head and the actuator. The read head is mounted on the stationary part of the safety device and connected to the control unit via a lead. The actuator is located on the moving part of the safety device. A machine can only be started up when the safety circuit - i.e. the safety door - is closed. Opening the door automatically leads to a safe system shutdown. |
