At the Engineering Newcomer you can win great prizes with your project. The design competition also offers you the opportunity to present your interesting, self-developed design project to a wide audience. Show us your design and our competent jury of experts will evaluate your work according to various criteria.
Who can take part?
Are you a student or apprentice and have you created an exciting project or thesis in the field of engineering and development during your studies or training? Then you've come to the right place! If you are an apprentice or student at a university, technical school or technical college, we are looking forward to your participation.
This is what you can win:
The best work will be awarded with an attractive cash prize for the participants and their educational institute. Students and educational institutions each receive the following prizes:
1st prize: 2,000 €
2nd prize: 1,000 €
3rd prize: 500 €

This is new: Talent meets Investors
This year for the first time, as a participant in Engineering Newcomer you will have the opportunity to present your project to our investors and deliver a pitch. In the new "Talent meets Investors" category, you can convince investors of your idea and with a little luck receive individual support in the realisation of your project. Delivering a pitch is optional.
