Attention all pupils and students! The Engineering Newcomer starts in round 5.
Together with CADENAS GmbH, the BA Technical College and solidpro GmbH, we are looking for the Engineering Newcomer 2018. Students and pupils can now apply with their projects or thesis in the fields of engineering and development.
From the participants we require photo's, screenshots or videos of the project or thesis together with a brief description (assignment, components used, challenges, project results).
Entry deadline is 31st July 2018.
The projects will be assessed by a jury of experts according to the following criteria:
Application of standard parts / purchased parts, cost concept, variability
Function and handling
Technological implementation
Portrayal and application of social media for presentation - Lots of Likes on PARTcloud.net uploads increase the chances of winning
The prize
The best work will be awarded with an attractive cash prize for the participants and their educational institute:
1st place: 2000 €
2nd place: 1000 €
3rd place: 500 €
The Engineering Newcomer Perennial List
The most creative educational institutes become entries in our Engineering Newcomer Ranking.
Since 2017 there is progressively a little extra for the schools: The educational institute on position 1 of the perennial list gets a reward
a 500 € donation.
Every project entered becomes 1 point; the winning schools are rated as follows: 1st place gets an extra 10 points, 2nd place receives 6 points extra and 3rd place becomes a further 3 points.
