Batteries must not be disposed of as normal domestic waste. As the end user you are legally obligated for the return / disposal of used batteries according to local regulation. After use batteries can be returned free of charge to the sales outlet or immediate vicinity (e.g. collection points in the shop or regional collection points). You can also return used batteries to us by mail. Batteries containing hazardous substances have one of two symbols, a crossed out refuse bin or the chemical symbol for hazardous categorised contaminating metals.
Cd stands for cadmium, Pb for lead and Hg for mercury.
